Interim Operations Director

Job DescriptionBPESearch is thrilled to collaborate with a leading consumer manufacturing business with 4 manufacturing facilities based in the North of England.We’re seeking an experienced Interim Operations Director to join the team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing operational processes across our manufacturing sites, with a strong emphasis on cultural transformation, best practice implementation, and capability development.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage operations across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Drive cultural transformation initiatives to foster a positive and high-performance work environment.Develop and implement best practices in operations management, including process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction strategies.Provide leadership and direction to site management and teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.Champion employee development and engagement initiatives to enhance team performance and morale.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications: Proven experience as an Operations Director or similar leadership role, preferably within a high-volume industry.Demonstrated success in cultural transformation and change management initiatives.Strong background in implementing best practices and driving operational excellence.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results.Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed.If you are a strategic leader with a passion for driving cultural change and operational excellence, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
