Interim Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this growing manufacturing business to recruit a Management Accountant, initially a temporary assignment for 6-8 weeks with the potential to extend, partially to cover leave for the Management Accountant but also to support with forecasting and cost modelling during a system update, joining a small close knit finance team. Whilst there are never any guarantees, with the growth the business is experiencing, there’s certainly scope for the role to extend beyond the initial period! The Management Accounts are prepared using Excel so strong excel skills are required for the role. 
Duties of the Management Accountant will include:

• Producing management accounts (using data from Sage 50 but will primarily be using Excel).

• In addition, they are implementing Sage 200 with a planned go live of 2nd April.  Basic structures are in place but are looking for assistance for data migration and during the bedding in period.
• Implementation of Phocas – Map and format the reports required. Experience with Phocas not necessary, but experience of reporting packages would be beneficial.
• Implementation of ExpensIn. An app based system for processing employee expenses. Alongside this the formation and implementation of an expenses policy needs to be completed.
• Assisting with updating our forecasting models – this will be a critical part of the role – supporting with the costing models
• Other Adhoc projects under the direction of FD or CFO

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Solid team working skills
• Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
• Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Sage knowledge
