Are you ready to make an immediate impact as an Interim Retail HR Business Partner?
Covering the North England and Scotland region, in this role you'll provide a commercially focused HR Business Partnering service through building relationships across key stakeholders, driving the implementation of our HR strategy and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in partnership with the Retail HR Business Partnering team to deliver the implementation of the Retail People strategy and objectives in alignment with business needs ensuring compliance, ensuring consistency and alignment across all retail divisions.
Act as senior point of contact and subject matter expert on complex employment cases and projects and provide HR related advice across the generalist range of the role
Using divisional HR dashboards, metrics and KPIs, understand people challenges across your business area and support the Lead HR Business Partner with implementing commercial and change solutions to drive business performance and colleague engagement.
Work with other areas of HR to Lead HR activities/projects as defined by the Lead HR Business Partner including (but not limited to) the areas of performance management, talent management, organisational design, employee relations, reward and recognition and HR best practice
Utilise all talent management tools available to create visibility of the capability within the Regional Leadership teams, driving succession and talent planning and addressing the business needs
Support with senior recruitment activity (appointment of Regional Manager)
Coach & influence senior leaders and managers on HR related matters, business and ensuring decisions are made with our EPIC values in mind
Act as senior point of contact and subject matter expert on complex employment cases and projects and provide HR related advice across the generalist range of the role
Location:
This role is field based across the North and Scotland, and may include travel to of our hubs based in London and Nuneaton. We're a global, digitally enabled business and we expect our colleagues to be self-driven and to determine the most appropriate place to work each day to meet the requirements of the role, achieve their best performance and optimum output.
Key Requirements:
Experience in retail or from similar fast moving industry
Experience in a similar HR Business Partnering role, with a track record of successful management and delivery of strategic HR change programmes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Packages (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
Commercial Acumen: Good understanding of how business operates and is inquisitive and interested to establish how you can add value to all business areas.
Project Management: Ability to effectively develop and manage project plans, engaging and managing all key stakeholders to ensure required outputs are delivered on time and to the required standards
Strong knowledge of employment legislation is essential to the success of this role
Proven relationship building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at senior levels
