Your new company Hays HR is delighted to be supporting a global organisation on the recruitment of a HR Advisor to join them on a 12-month FTC to support maternity cover. The role offers a hybrid working approach; a competitive salary located in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Your new role
Within your new role, you will report into the HR Business Partner supporting a specific area of the business, and working closely with the wider HR function. This is a HR Generalist opportunity where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of HR activities. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
Managing the full employee lifecycle
Providing advice and guidance to line managers on a wide range of HR issues
Work closely with the HR Business Partner on providing an advisory service
Managing lower level Employee Relation cases
Managing performance and absence management
Ad-hoc project work
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in a fast-paced organisation, managing a high workload. Previous experience within an HR Advisor role. Able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Good employment law knowledge. CIPD Qualification or working towards.
