The interim HR Manager will provide a full HR service to the business, predominantly Halifax but also to other smaller sites around the UK. This is a full generalist role which will suit an experienced HR Advisor looking for a new challenge.

Description

The interim HR Manager role is truly generalist, supporting c150 employees in the UK. You will be responsible for:

  • The full recruitment process, from profiling job descriptions and pre-selection of candidates to delivering new starter inductions.
  • Training and development, individual and company wide analysis, design and delivery of training interventions.
  • Manage succession planning and the mentoring scheme.
  • Able to provide a backup for the running of payroll, which is completed by a payroll assistant.
  • Develop individual performance related compensation schemes and benchmark roles.
  • Manage all employment benefits and compensation such as salary reviews and bonus schemes.
  • Support management in maintaining a good working environment and provide strong commercial advice when needed in relation to disciplinary and grievances.
  • Management of full employee lifecycle, working closely with Payroll.
  • Develop contracts, policies and procedures to meet the business requirements in line with UK Law.
  • Preparation and control of HR budgets and KPI's.

Profile

To be successful in this interim HR Manager role, you will need to be/have:

  • Educated to Degree level as a minimum.
  • CIPD qualification at level 5.
  • Proven experience as a HR generalist, either in a HR Advisory or HR Manager role.
  • Good knowledge of UK Law and regulations with the ability to work with legal advisers to provide guidance to the business.
  • Excellent IT skills, preferably Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience of using different HR systems.
  • Available to start a new role ASAP, or one months notice maximum.
