We are seeking an experienced Head of Sustainability to join a major construction contractor based in the UK, with operations spanning across the nation, primarily within the civil engineering sector.

What you will do:
As an Interim Head of Sustainability, you'll have the unique opportunity to spearhead our sustainability initiatives on a six-month contract basis. Your primary focus will be on driving decarbonization strategies, promoting the circular economy, and implementing best practices aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

What you will need:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or civil engineering sector.
  
• Expertise in decarbonization strategies, circular economy principles, and setting Science-Based Targets.
  
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and execute complex initiatives.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  
• A strategic thinker with a passion for driving meaningful change.
