Interim Fire Safety Manager

We have a current opportunity for a Interim Fire Safety Manager on a contract basis. The role is concentrate on fire strategies, policies and procedures, making improvements on contracts across the wider business being an expert in all fire related matters.Main Duties:Collaborating with coworkers throughout the organization to facilitate the growth, guidance, and backing of individuals in conducting fire risk assessments, while fostering a constructive fire safety ethos within the company.Evaluating and scrutinizing the fire risk assessments conducted by our teams, confirming their accuracy to uphold quality standards and adhere to regulations.You will contract manage external consultants and manage their performance in delivering scheduled assessments.Engaging with collaborators, contractors, and relevant experts such as the Fire and Rescue Service to execute planned assessments, inspections, and audits.Establishing a transparent framework that ensures adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.Qualifications:Possession certification in Fire Safety such as a NEBOSH Fire Risk Management certificate.Prior experience in the field of Social Housing with a comprehensive grasp of risk management principles pertaining to communal living arrangements.Demonstrated ability in conducting Fire Risk Assessment programs and possessing a proficient understanding of Fire Safety British Standards as well as Fire and Building Safety Regulations.Proficiency in coaching and mentoring, capable of fostering a culture of best practices within your professional circle.
