Interim Financial Controller

A PE-backed media business is recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller on an initial 6 month contract. This is a key role which will form the basis of the programme to deliver a best-in-class finance function, which the successful candidate will own.As the Interim Financial Controller, you will be:Owning the operational finance function, reporting to the Finance DirectorResponsible for the delivery on management accounts, day to day activity of finance and developing management information packs for commercial purposesLeading on monthly and quarterly reporting cyclesPreparing statutory accounts under IFRS and managing group auditsEmbarking on a programme of continuous improvement, testing controls and refining processesPreparing VAT returns, payroll, cash forecasting and cashflow managementThe ideal candidate:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifiedDemonstrable experience owning monthly reporting cyclesA solid grounding in technical and controls based financeA high energy and adaptable individual in a fast paced and exciting environmentA genuine team player and a proactive sponsor of improving the organisationApply ASAP to ensure you are considered for this Interim Financial Controller role.
