Interim Financial Controller

polkadotfrog has partnered with a highly reputable brand in Tiptree. Essex. Together, we are seeking an Interim Financial Controller to join their team for 3/4 months.
This position will be office-based, Monday to Friday with a view date of starting April 2024.
Key duties
- Maintain detailed forecasts.

- Support Key Account Managers on assessments of commercial viability on pricing proposals.

- Collaborate with department heads to ensure understanding of performance against budget

- Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements

- Anaylse financial data and present reports to senior management and stakeholders

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimise financial resources

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance cash flow management.
Ideal candidate
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role

- Qualification with recognised accounting body preferred

- Positive attitude due to the company being a small team.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in financial management software and advanced Excel skills
