Interim Finance Systems Controller

Our services client requires an experienced Interim Financial Systems Controller to support their finance team for a 3-month period, during a critical system transition. The company has recently migrated from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central; this transition has posed several challenges, and the finance team now require support to better understand the current finance processes, provide training on the new system and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance and support in the use of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central from a finance utilisation perspective
Configure and optimise the system to better meet the finance team’s needs (across AR, AP, GL, management accounting)
Develop and implement streamlined processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct comprehensive training sessions to enhance the finance team's proficiency with the new system.
Candidate profile:
Qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central as well as previous experience with system migrations.
Strong background in financial systems and process improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support the team.
Teams are spread across Scotland and London; flexibility will be required to travel to Scotland on a regular basis.
