Finatal is in collaboration with an esteemed international professional services SME company, boasting a turnover of under £50 million. This partnership seeks a proficient Interim Finance Manager to uphold financial integrity throughout a phase of expansion.
Responsibilities:
month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
payroll processes and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
areas for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
support in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
with the Financial Controller to address any financial discrepancies or issues promptly.
in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required.
Requirements:
qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within a professional services environment.
understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
analytical skills and attention to detail.
in financial software and MS Excel.
communication and interpersonal abilities.
to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
working for an SME of less than £50m t/o.
