Interim Finance Manager

Job DescriptionForge Talent are currently engaged with a well-established retail brand based in the heart of Manchester who are looking to hire an Interim Finance Manager. The role will be for 6 months and could lead to permanent. Reporting into the Finance Director and working alongside a strong finance team.Managing the Accounting TeamProduction of the balance sheet and income statement .Preparation of Annual Financial Statements, Adjustments and Reconciliations and statutory accounts: Under both UK GAAPManagement of monthly stock close and reconciliation of opening to closing stockIntra group reconciliationsEstablishing the accounting policies of the company, putting in place the systems and procedures of the company and providing the required accounting and management data.Ensuring that above accounting policies, systems and procedures follow local regulations.Implementing the policies, procedures, and systems in the scope of directives given by the Group.Recording all accounting operations of all companies the post holder: o respects the accounting procedures in place of analyses all accounts including the customers and suppliers accounts of issues the different declarations linked to the fiscal legislation.Candidate Requirements:Worked in a similar project role previously.Solid communicator and able to present information,Excellent attention to detail.Be able to drive change and make improvementsExperience of working in a fast-paced environment.Strong systems and excel knowledgeBe immediately available or on 1 weeks notice
