Interim Finance Director

This is a 4-6 month Interim Finance Director opportunity and a great opportunity to be hands-on with the finance team as well as add strategic and commercial value to the operational side of the business. This role is predominantly office based.Client DetailsCharitable organisation that makes a real difference in people's lives.DescriptionAs Interim Finance Director you will be responsible for:Managing the finance team - ensuring the right controls are in place across purchase ledger, credit control and payroll as well as the Commercial Finance Team.Presentation of the Board papersWorking with the SLT to ensure operational performance targets are metWorking closely with Budget Holders across the organisation to ensure strict controls around expenditure and that performance is optimisedProfileMy client is looking for an experienced Interim to join the business as you will need to get up to speed very quickly within the role. You must have the ability to roll your sleeves up and get into the detail of the numbers with the finance team, as well as business partner with budget holders across the organisation, and push back and challenge where needed.Experience of working within a charity would be useful but by no means essential.You should be available to start this role Mid-May and commit to the full duration. This role offers 1 day from home - the other 4 days per week must be spent in the office in Kent.Job OfferA day rate commensurate with experience between £500 and £650 per day (if via umbrella company)
