Interim Engineering Manager

Interim Engineering Manager - Food Manufacturing - 3-6 months.�

Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)�

Role Responsibilities:�

• Deliver comprehensive management of the Engineering and Engineering Technical Teams.�


• Lead regular face to face meetings to coach, motivate and engage with people and teams.


• Manage, monitor, and control business and budgeting activities.�


• Drive the transition from reactive to proactive Engineering.


• Manage within the company guidelines on all policies and procedures. (Absence, disciplinary & Grievance, Health & Safety, and security) Ensuring the Engineering Function meets all current statutory H&S obligations.�


• Oversee the Engineering Stores procurement regarding any stock shortfalls, defect parts or compatibility issues.


• Identify potential engineering and system projects, upgrades to improve and safeguard operational performance.

To be successful:�

• Experience leading large multi-disciplined Engineering teams within a fast paced environment.�


• Be a confident leader, Strong decision-making and�able to�engage with senior leadership teams.�


• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, TPM Methodology or Manufacturing excellence.


• Experienced in both mechanical and electrical maintenance.�


• Knowledge of SCADA and PLC-based control systems.�


• Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems.�
