Interim Demand Planner - FMCG Beauty Company

This role of Demand Planner is essential for maintaining optimal inventory levels and improving forecast accuracy within the Procurement & Supply Chain department. The candidate will be responsible for implementing planning strategies, coordinating with various teams, and providing detailed forecasts.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established player within the FMCG Beauty industry, boasting a substantial employee base. They are renowned for their high-quality services and commitment to excellence, operating at an international level.DescriptionKey responsibilities include:Develop and implement effective forecast and inventory models.Coordinate cross-functionally to understand demand forecast drivers.Implement strategies to improve forecast accuracy.Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts and budgets.Work with stakeholders to determine promotional demand.Manage and maintain data in the forecasting system.Assist with risk management within the supply chain.Provide input to the Supply Planning team in developing inventory strategies.ProfileThe successful candidate would have:Experience in a similar role within the FMCG Beauty industry.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Proficiency in statistical forecasting and forecasting methods.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using planning software.Be immediately available and ready for an ASAP start.
