We are currently recruiting to an Adult Learning Disability Consultant Psychiatrist position for our Intensive Support Team based at Maggie Lilly, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford, IG3 8XJ. This is a new post, and is one of the first Home Treatment Teams in Learning Disability in the country. You will join a 0.4wte Senior Trainee within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work. Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, within the home setting. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team Work directly with adults with learning disabilities and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative Work alongside a 4wte Senior Trainee
