The Vale of Glamorgan are seeking a dedicated and experienced team manager to join their dynamic team in their Child and Young People Services. As a Team Manager, you will oversee a dedicated team of professionals and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to children and families
Responsibilities -
Provide leadership and guidance to the team in conducting assessments, inquiries, and establishing support plans for families
Ensure management consistency and foster a supportive work environment
Oversee the allocation of cases and ensure timely and effective service delivery
Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of services
Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and support as needed
Implement strategies to manage workload and maintain a manageable caseload for team members
Support and mentor team members in providing empathetic support to families
Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements -
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work
Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within child and family services
