Insurance Finance and Data Analyst

Job DescriptionThis is an entry level position that will provide an excellent foundation in the world of specialty insurance and ultimately a range of roles across finance, operations or analysis. The types of insurance written are complicated and will test and develop an individual’s problem solving and mathematical abilities. The role will work closely with other departments to gain an understanding of their processes but also the general world of insurance.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the end-to-end process of binding insurance policies, including data entry and documentation management. Work through queries and longer term projects to improve the quality of reported dataWork closely with the finance team to allocate and reconcile premium payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and propose innovative solutions to streamline processes. Provide support to various teams within the operations department, assisting with administrative tasks and participating in cross-functional projects as required. Adhere to industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
