As a leading insurance brokerage, they serve a diverse range of personal lines and commercial clients.We’re seeking talented individuals to join the team and help us continue to provide excellent broking advice and service, establishing long-term relationships with our clients.About the role: Insurance BrokerAs an Insurance Broker, you’ll be responsible for selecting, selling, and servicing general insurance products that meet our clients’ long-term needs in a compliant and professional manner. You’ll work closely with our in-house underwriting team and other departments, contributing to our mission of delivering a consistently 5-star experience to our clients.What you’ll be doing:Liaising and negotiating with underwriters and/or approved insurers to obtain appropriate policy cover and terms.Developing and maintaining your knowledge and skills to sell and service products professionally.Reviewing and evaluating risks within your underwriting authority limits, proposing, and negotiating policy terms.Training, developing, and coaching less experienced colleagues.Building and maintaining effective relationships with peers, suppliers, and industry bodies.What you’ll need:Entry-level CII Professional qualification, or a willingness to undertake training within the Insurance Industry to obtain relevant professional qualifications.Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable manner.Experience in a busy, customer-focused environment, either face-to-face or via telephone.Sales experience and the achievement of results in a targeted environment is desirable.1-2 years’ experience in Insurance Broking, specifically Commercial.*You will be required to travel once a month to Jersey UKInsurance Broker - Commercial Experience
