JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be involved in anything from developing Instrument specifications, generating Instrument input/output schedules, writing scope of work for control system modifications, and understanding Instrumentation construction drawings. You will be helping implement projects as per company procedures and international engineering standards. You will also get the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, using your Instrumentation engineering knowledge to collaborate and deliver energy projects for Wood's customers. You will have the support of experienced lead engineers, subject matter experts, Instrumentation specialist and our Head of Discipline. Also, you will have access to our early career network and current graduate engineers across the business to tap into. This is an opportunity to gain real experience working within real projects, giving you the chance to develop critical Instrumentation & Control skills that will set you up for a successful career in engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Currently a penultimate-year MEng student or a final-year BEng student who is planning on completing a MEng or M.Sc. in Instrumentation or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Expecting 1st or 2:1 master's degree in Instrumentation or Electrical & Electronics engineering discipline, accredited by the relevant engineering institution
Available full time for 8 weeks from 1 July 2024
