Our client is looking for an Instrument Engineer for a contract position, located in Aberdeen.
ROLE
Technical execution and delivery of projects using technical expertise and experience and any validated associated software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The post holder will report to their Engineering Director/Manager for the execution of technical work, supported by the Human Resources Manager for all non-technical aspects of working.
- Performing their day to day duties to the best of their ability and in compliance with HSEQ processes and procedures;
- Any other delegated content as instructed by under the direction of line manager.
- Supporting business development effort by engaging with existing and potential clients to generate leads and enquiries under the direction of line management;
- Execution of engineering projects, design and analysis as required by clients and all interested parties under the direction of line manager whilst complying with processes and procedures;
- Execution of all engineering duties in compliance with applicable legislation, codes, standards, and
- Quality control and administration procedures;
- Production of engineering proposals, schedules and reports in accordance with project commitments, as required by clients and all interested parties;
- Report and meet with clients and all interested parties on a project basis under suitable guidance;
- Providing mentorship and continuing professional development support to less experienced engineers;
- Work will normally be performed at company offices but there may be requirements to work in client offices and/or offshore.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Suitable engineering or relevant degree;
- Previous relevant engineering experience.
