Location: EMEA, fieldPurpose
Responsible for the installation of CribMaster hardware and software solutions at customer sites, to effectively deliver inventory management solutions. The work will include new equipment installations as well as upgrades, repairs or maintenance to existing systems, in addition to being able to carry out basic / introductory training sessions. Represent CribMaster during on-site implementations, working effectively as part of a wider technical team.This position will require significant travel mainly across EMEA/Europe & UK, with the majority of time being field based - mostly to factories in the automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors.The ideal candidate is a strong technical generalist with knowledge of IT hardware, software, data, networking, and as a bonus be already familiar and comfortable with Inventory Management Solutions, including RFID technology; with a healthy curiosity about how things work. The Job (responsibilities): Works closely with project coordination to ensure all software and hardware to be used for customer site installation, including, but not limited to, ensuring all machine configurations are correct and data is imported and cleanedActs as the customer’s technical advocate and makes recommendations that facilitate efficient and productive implementationsUnderstands various deployment options of CribMaster products and ensures these are utilized to meet customer needsFollows detailed installation processes and proceduresPrepares and provides basic product training to meet customer needs, whilst working closely with the Training & Support SpecialistDevelops custom documentation to match customer processesDevelops solutions and educates customers in various stages of product implementationAssists with preparing formal project plans for customersSupports the sales team with all opportunities including pre-sale customer site surveysCompletes RFID / Non-RFID implementations, training, and post implementation support. The Person (requirements): Technical installation support experience; field service, field engineeringStrong technical generalist with knowledge of IT hardware, software, data, networkingMechanical aptitude and ability to use standard hand tools to repair/replace mechanical and electronic components. Basic knowledge of electricity and radio.Advantage: familiar with Inventory Management Solutions, including RFID technology (CribMaster knowledge is a major advantage)Strong knowledge of Windows, networking basics; with experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting softwareFundamental understanding of databases, particularly SQL definitionsSolid Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of IOT technologies is a plusProficient in English, other languages a plus point (French, Italian, Spanish), with strong communication skills (formal, informal, and technical)Ability to self-learnWell organized, pro-active, efficientGood interpersonal skills, team playerAbility to work safely in potentially dangerous environments that include welding, milling, stamping, heavy machinery, high-temperatures, platforms, ladders, enclosed spaces, and chemicals.Ability to travel in EMEA/Europe region We offer:
