Alecto Recruitment are currently representing an Gas Alarm Contractor based in Surrey, who are now looking to appoint an Installation Engineer to support their ongoing growth.

With an outstanding reputation for quality and engineering excellence, the group provide a one stop shop for the design, manufacture, test, supply, install, commission and service of fixed continuous gas detection equipment and environmental monitoring systems.

With an impressive portfolio of industrial clients to include sewage treatment works; ministry of defence; facility management; semiconductor plants, university clean rooms, the company continue to see year on year growth and are new implementing a forward-thinking operational strategy to support their team.

The Role:

As Installation Engineer, you will work as part of a two-man team.

Duties will include the installation of fixed gas detection equipment incorporating fixing conduit, cable tray, catenary wire, boxed trunking with cable pulling and termination.

The company have customers throughout the UK, but a majority of the projects are London and the south of England typically Cambridge, Oxford, London, Guildford.

Please note, this is very much a 1st Fix, Second Fix and Termination role, and we are not looking for a qualified electrtcian or an improver lookig to complete their portfolio. This is very much an Install only role.

There will be some administrative duties including:- Completion of timesheets, Risk Assessments and Method Statements, e-mail communication.

The Candidate:

This role would suit a person who is looking to further their career in a modern progressive organisation.

No electrical qualifications are needed as you will not be tasked with electrical works. Your duties will be cable and containment installation work only.

Preferable qualifications:

• CSCS health and safety card (candidates will be considered without on the basis the company would send you on course immediately)
• Asbestos Awareness,
• IPAF card

Package:

• �26,000 - �29,000 per annum
• Annual bonus in December based on company performance
• Start times vary, looking for 6 - 7 hours on site plus travel.
