Inspector

Come and see what we have to offer!TasksYour responsibilities and duties may include the following: Undertake and complete a detailed inspection of all components using latest criteria and Inspection equipment Creation and modification of component overhaul / Repair routes within SAP as required Ensuring that all information (I.E. P/N, S/N and Condition) is recorded in the shop Repair Order and on LTLGS SAP system Carry out accurate measurement of components where required due to workload Work to Production priority lists – ASPEN, Milestone dates as provided by Production Control Interface with Technical engineering, and other production departments where necessary Other duties as directed by the Section Manager, Team Leader or Leading Hand Train and mentor other team personnel within the role subject to your qualifications and experience RequirementsThe idealInspectormust fulfill the following requirements: Aerospace apprenticeship would be desirable Maths and English GCSE A-C Grades equivalent ‘A’ Level or equivalent qualification in an engineering subject would be desirable Extensive experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent environment Previous mechanical component inspection background PC literate Previous experience working within an SAP computer system would advantageous Good knowledge of inspection techniques and equipment Previous practical experience using imperial measureent tools Previous knowledge of manuals and Boeing websites Shift work. Monday – Friday or Tuesday - Saturday Further trainings required
