In this landscape of expansion and innovation, we are introducing a new role aimed at revolutionizing how we acquire customers and enhance our sales organization's productivity. As an Inside Sales Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to lead this charge, not only applying your exceptional sales skills to sell but also building and innovating processes for scalable customer acquisition. This role is your chance to be at the forefront of shaping Amazon Freight's future, driving growth through strategic sales leadership and team development within a dynamic start-up environment.Key job responsibilities•\tLead the development and implementation of a strategic sales plan to attract customers at scale, driving Amazon Freight's growth in Europe.•\tBuild, mentor, and manage an inside sales team capable of achieving ambitious sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.•\tInnovate and optimize sales processes and strategies to improve overall sales productivity and efficiency.•\tFoster a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team, encouraging innovative approaches to customer acquisition and engagement.•\tWork closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and customer needs.•\tAct as a customer advocate, identifying customer needs and working with internal teams to guide product and service enhancements.•\tOwn and manage sales forecasts and performance, ensuring transparency and effective communication within the Amazon Freight leadership team.A day in the lifeAs the Inside Sales Manager, your day starts with a strategic review of sales targets and performance metrics, followed by coaching sessions with your team to refine pitches and share insights on customer acquisition tactics. QUALIFICATIONSStrong
quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skillsEntrepreneurial, self-sufficient and able to operate in a fluid, ambiguous environmentMaster or MBA from a reputed business schoolPrior experience working in transportation/ freight/ logistics/ supply-chain industryFluency in French, Italian or SpanishAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
