We are seeking a highly proactive Innovation Support Officer to join our Innovation & Impact team within the Research, Innovation & Impact (RII) Directorate.
About the role
The RII Directorate supports the research, innovation, and impact activity across the University. The role of Innovation Support Officer reports to the Senior Project Officer (Innovation) within the Innovation & Impact Team. Tasked with supporting the successful delivery of Innovation & Impact Team services, the Innovation Support Officer will ensure effective administrative and financial operations and will be the primary point of contact for internal and external queries.
About you
We are looking for someone who can confidently communicate with people at all levels of the organisation internally and externally and that has sound working knowledge and experience of financial and administrative operations. You will be able to manage a diverse workload with competing deadlines. Tasks will include supporting the financial and operational administration of the Innovation & Impact portfolio, undertaking due diligence, supporting consultancy, preparing contracts, contributing to reporting, and leading on the development and delivery of innovation events.
