Ingredients Specialist - Lipids

iO Associates have partnered with a global FMCG business in the search for a Ingredients Specialist to lead their Lipids category. In this dynamic role you will be developing, building and applying ingredient solutions to products and manufacturing projects with a focus on Lipids. The role is based in High Wycombe as the Ingredients Specialist you will be responsible for:
Leads the Lipids ingredients technical program for UK&I (3+ years) and ensure alignment to deliver the innovation pipeline and future ingredients solutions.Setting the strategic technical agenda for the R&D UK&I over the next 5 yearsDevelop Lipid ingredients toolboxes to support growth innovation agendaProactively support long term ingredients productivity opportunities for UK&I on the lipids category.Working in partnership with other functions e.g. procurement, supply chain and Quality to ensure top performance on the Lipids category.Build strong internal network with regional and global partners.Build significant supplier and external capabilities network to support ignite and secure an agile delivery of the strategic agenda. To be considered for the role you will need:
Educated to PhD or MSc level, with relevant experience, in a relevant Science subject area - Food Science, Bioscience, Food Materials, Biology, Chemistry or similar.Work experience in Food Manufacturing Departments with some experience of project managementExperience of food materials and manufacturing systems Strong technical background, analytical techniques, and processing methodology knowledgeFamiliarity with the Global regulatory landscape and food and safety legislation.Good knowledge of Lipids (Fats, Oils, emulsifiers and related).Experience working with suppliers and external partners. In return you will receive a salary up to £51,000 plus a 10% bonus, £5800 car allowance, Single cover Medical Insurance, Matched +3% Pension, Life Assurance, 25 days holiday plus BH and a lot of career progression opportunities.
