Infrastructure Team Leader

Our client is looking for a Team Leader to sit between the Data Centre Manager and the support and monitoring team.
The role will suit someone who has a strong technical background, an understanding of monitoring and configuration and ideally a blend of Linux and Windows skills. In addition, you should have practical experience of work allocation and day to day leadership of a small support team.
A relevant background would include: –Strong technical ability with the ability to pass this on to junior members of staffExperience within a Data Centre environmentStrong understanding of performance monitoring and capacity management (SolarWinds or similar)A good understanding of security, antivirus and malware with the ability to proactively manage the infrastructureExcellent troubleshooting skillsThe ideal candidate will have performed capacity management duties as part of a senior infrastructure role with previous experience of at least acting as a mentor to junior members of staff.
