We are building a team of experienced Engineers to work as part of a security transformation project with one of our financial services clients, and looking for a skilled
Infrastructure Solution Design Engineer , with knowledge of Tenable and ideally experience working within the financial services sector.
Job Description
As an Infrastructure Solution Design Engineer you will have experience with delivery focused infrastructure solutions or infrastructure development including proven technical background at a senior level. You will be expected to develop options and recommendations for information technology designs and solutions to meet business requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Review, interpret and respond to detailed user stories/ business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future
Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investment
Define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives including technology solutions and changes to service, process and/or operating models
Design and delivery projects from inception through functional analysis of user stories/ requirements, the approval process for business case development, project execution and operational handover to align technological solutions processes and systems to meet emerging business requirements
Getting the completed design through the various governance gates and creating any additional requirements
Technical Skills & Competencies
Solution Design experience involving cloud/on prem and multiple systems
Security focused design that adhere to industry and highly regulated financial environment’s security standards
Ability to effectively collaborate with business customers, engineering teams, security consultants, and other project stakeholders
Ability to provide detailed infrastructure designs to industry best practices for solutions hosted in Public / Private Cloud and using SaaS type solutions
Best practices within infrastructure design and data security and threat vectors
Advanced skills in producing diagrams and design documentation
Desirable:
Previous experience in the financial services sector
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related discipline
Desirable relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or AWS Certified Security
ISO27001
Desirable experience with Active Directory security
