Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure EngineerA private hedge fund is looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer.You would be responsible for;
* Addressing end user requests throuh multiple communication channels in a 3rd line escalation capacity
* Designing, installing, configuring and maintaining servers, desktops and other IT equiptment
* Troubleshooting complex issues regarding, hardware, software, network and cloud (Azure AD) infrastructureTherefore, they are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience;
* Strong knowledge of Office365 and other cloud hosted services (Intune, Azure)
* Proven experience in hardware support (servers, desktops, switches/routers)
* Proficient in scripting and automating admin tasks using PowerShell
* Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies, preferably Hyper-V, and VDI solutions (Horizon)This role would require travel to other locations in the UK on a fortnightly/monthly basis
