Job Title : Infrastructure Engineer / Cloud Engineer (O365)
Salary:
Up to £60,000 + package
Location:
Hybrid (Can be based out of Leeds or Doncaster)
I am currently recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer / Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Office365 (O365). My client are a stable and growing organisation who are looking to invest in the best technology available to help them meet their ambitious growth plans. The role will be heavily project based rather than BAU focused so the work will be varied and interesting.
Key Responsibilities
Analysing existing systems & business models recommending solutions and potential improvements.
Author technical documents such as performance, specification and solution designs utilising cloud technologies.
Investigate, identify, diagnose, and resolve system related faults, escalating 3rd parties to maintain service levels of cloud and security platforms.
Assisting in the identification, analysis, and escalation of problems, owning through to resolution.
Maintaining and managing effective updates, systems, applications, hardware, platforms, and licensing
Required Skills/Experience
Proven experience in an Infrastructure Engineer role with a background of working on implementation project work, not just BAU support.
Professional experience in supporting and managing Microsoft Cloud solutions, E5 level management of 365 technologies including Azure, Active Directory, SharePoint, OneDrive, MFA, DLP, VPN, Security and SaaS, IaaS, SASE integration and orchestration.
Proven experience in deploying new projects, services and features to cloud.
Ability to support SaaS platforms such as Mimecast, Varonis, Identity Management, Cisco Umbrella, SIEM and SASE services, as well as traditional on-premises servers and Windows operating systems, VMware and Storage
Knowledge of device and mobility management and applied security.
Expertise in scripting to develop automation, integration, and auto-provisioning of services, products, reporting and licencing.
Experience in Threat and Vulnerability analysis or IT Security risk assessments on IT services and applications
Experience and use of automation, scripting and orchestration tooling Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
Experience of Python, PowerShell, JS or equivalent.
Knowledge of data management and relational Databases, SQL, Postgres, Oracle.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories.
