Job DescriptionInfrastructure Engineer – City of London – Investment Bank Harrington Starr are partnered with a Leading Investment Bank in London who are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to provide 3rd level support to a 100+ investment banking professionals including traders, bankers, and support staff. Our client hosts one of the largest corporate stockbroking platforms in the City, and this is a fantastic chance for a candidate looking to work with cutting edge technology in a fast paced environment. You will be working alongside the IT Infrastructure Lead and two further End User Support Engineers.This role will be 5days a week in the office, and ideally will suit an all rounder with previous experience in a financial services firm. Based on experience, the salary range for this position is £70,000 to £85,000 Base + Bonus. What are we looking for?Windows & Microsoft Azure (M365, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams).Handle electronic and in-person requests for technical assistance as the 3rd line of escalation and overflow cover for the 1st & 2nd line engineers.Linux AdministrationNetworking & TelephonyIaaS hosted Server Virtualization (VMWare NSX-T), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix + HDX)Device Management (InTune, Apple & Android).Scripting –PowerShell, Bash scripting automation of data transfers.Implementation of cyber security controls (Patching, Firewalls, SEIM) and incident management.Responsibility for infrastructure underlying specialist 3rd party finance systems, including FactSet, Bloomberg and Fidessa.Please apply directly today or get in touch with me, if you or anyone you know may be a good fit! #####
