Infrastructure Engineer - Midlands
TH Recruit is exclusively working with one of the UK’s largest privately owned Property Development Companies as they recruit for a Infrastructure Engineer to join their Midlands based region located in Derbyshire. This position has become available due to continued success and growth, the opportunity will offer some flexibility/remote working from home or site but will be predominantly office based. The person they appoint will be responsible for the management of projects from initial concept/feasibility stage to detailed design. You will review and commission design work and challenge fees, consultant programmes, review and technically appraise design information and potential new site opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Issuing of technical information to site and consultants.
Organising tender briefs for issuing to external consultants.
Managing/controlling consultancy project fees.
Advising external consultants with initial layout design/site constraints.
Appoint topographical and utility surveys.
Reviewing of all technical plans for submission to relevant authorities.
Vetting of design to ensure commercial compliance.
Assisting the Land and Development teams with site feasibility appraisals.
Responding to and addressing site construction issues.
Supporting the team with discharging any planning conditions.
Coordination of site Utilities packages, obtaining quotes and diversions.
Managing S38/S104/S278 Legal Agreements with Solicitors.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships, deal with contractors and review costs and programmes. Capability to go to site and review construction of infrastructure to ensure compliance and quality.
