Our client is an award winning multi national design consultancy who are looking to recruit an Infrastructure/Drainage Design Engineer to join their award winning civil, structural, rail, and transportation consultancy.
The position is based in their Manchester offices and offers excellent opportunities to design infrastructure projects for Local Authorities, Network Rail, Transport Authorities, and Private Sector organisations.
Their Infrastructure and Drainage team continues to grow in the North West. They have been appointed to many Local Authority framework contracts and have recently been awarded commissions to work a number of high profile multi-million-pound housing development sites.
Their team is involved in developing innovative and sustainable solutions for construction and flooding related infrastructure, drainage, and water management projects. Commissions have been received for a wide variety of installations, including public open spaces, parks, new commercial developments, railway/station projects, industrial/manufacturing plants, and residential developments.
They operate from the first concept and planning stages through to final design and construction, while looking after their clients’ interests at each stage. They have a reputation for being pro-active, with an innovative and flexible outlook to the design process and for producing economically and on time.
The environmental aspects of this work allow their practising engineers a rewarding opportunity to make a real and valuable impact upon the continuing issues of climate change and sustainability. They incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in any drainage designs and for two of their Local Authority clients they act as the Lead Local Flood Authority statutory consultee, reviewing the drainage/environmental compliance on many planning applications submitted for approval by other consultants.
