Information Technology Project Coordinator

Job Description
OpticoreIT is a specialist IT services consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within challenging and exciting environments across our client base varying from Large Enterprises to FTSE 100 spanning across multiple verticals including Finance, Media, Telecommunications, and much more.
We are currently searching for an IT Project Coordinator to join our Project Management Practice; you will be joining our already excelling team within our client in the Hospitality Sector based in Dunstable. We operate a hybrid working model and ask that you be on-site two days a week.
What you'll be doing:
Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
Create, own, and manage complex installation plans and trackers
Assign tasks to internal teams and delivery partners to assist with schedule management
Work with multiple delivery partners and providers
Help prepare and monitor budgets
Analyse risks and opportunities
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
Work with the Project / Programme Manager to eliminate blockers
Create and maintain reporting as and when required
What you’ll bring:
Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
Must have worked on a multi-million pound program
Experience working with BT / Openreach / Telcos; order planning, tracking, and execution
Strong organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Sharepoint
PMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL certifications are a plus
