Information Technology Manager

Closed Loop Medicine is looking to hire an IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the company’s computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. The IT manager will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s computing/infrastructure needs.

What you will be doing:
Manage all company technology assets (computers, cloud servers using AWS and any other devices as required).
Support all users with their devices, though providing user support, and implementation/management of company ticketing system and internal SLAs (using Jira Service Management)
Manage the licensing and administration of the company’s SaaS subscriptions (user management, renewals, integrations, etc) using Microsoft 365 as the collaboration platform (entire suite).
Management of all company’s devices, mainly MacBooks with some Windows devices, using Kandji as MDM & EDR and security tools like DNSFilter.
Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies controls, and procedures using Vanta as the compliance platform.
Ensure security of access (physical and network), data and backup cloud systems.
Provide a solution driven approach to identifying areas for improvement and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Implement and manage robust audit systems, working closely with the CTO and regulatory team to assess outcomes and manage any required systems changes/improvements.
Responsible for IT and Infrastructure budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Work with the CTO and the team to attain ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity certifications and maintain them.
Generation of monthly reporting KPIs representing overall system health and incident management, reporting these to the Executive Leadership Team regularly
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
Education and experience:
Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience. Ideally within a Technology company
Excellent knowledge of technical management and computer systems (mainly macOS) as Closed Loop uses mainly Apple devices and able to support end-users when they have issues.
Security mindful but also enabler for the business, not a blocker.
Hands-on experience with MDMs (preferably Kandji), DNS tools (preferably DNSFilter), knowledge of Atlassian tools, and security & compliance platforms (preferably Vanta).
Hands-On experience with macOS, computer networks, network administration (preferably Ubiquiti Unifi) and using cloud providers (preferably AWS).
Hands-On experience with Microsoft 365 administration and applications.
Previous experience & implementation of ISO27001 and/or Cyber Essentials.
Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability and desire to learn quickly.
Desirable skills:
