Job DescriptionIT Business Partner£70,000 plus benefitsNorthwest based (hybrid)Partner the business' leaders in providing the best IT solutions, to suit their business operations.You'll be their consultant and advisor for all matters IT.Perfect opportunity for an aspiring IT Director / CIO.The businessA niche and hugely successful manufacturing and distribution business. Firmly market leader in the UK, now expanding into Europe.This role Will support that expansion, by partnering the Operations Director, owning the IT roadmap for the operations.Own delivery of roadmap and strategic objectivesOwn delivery of key IT projects within operationsAdvise the management team on technology - what is possible, what could work and what may not, costs and benefitsBe senior escalation point (should all else fail)Own and foster productive relationships across functionsUnderstand the operations - manufacturing and distribution - closely enough to know what to advise from an IT perspectiveSkills sought - Operational background - in manufacturing, distribution, logistics or similarSome experience working within IT - perhaps as a BA, or a Process Analyst or a Change Analyst or on IT projects or business change projects with a strong IT elementIT knowledge and interest, enough to know what will work (you don't need to be a technician)Business Analysis skills - requirements gathering, IT solution scoping, project planning and deliveryA good understanding of business plans and roadmapsAbility to work across diverse functions and teamsVery strong communication skills - that's really importantLeadership qualities - or a strong desire to develop theseThe opportunityTo do a stepping stone role into IT leadership, CFIO in the futureA lovely broad strategic role, embedded in the operations, owning the IT Strategy and roadmap for the business.The role will require some travel around sites in the UK.
