Information Security Manager – Crawley - £80 – 100k DOE - Permanent - Hybrid (3 days a week)

If so, then we want you! We're searching for a passionate and experienced Information Security Manager to join our client’s growing team and become the champion of our data castle.
This is not your average security manager role.
We need someone who is comfortable leading from the front lines, diving deep into technical details, and getting their hands dirty with security tools and processes. You'll be responsible for crafting and implementing a robust security program, leading a team of security professionals, and ensuring the organisation stays ahead of the ever-evolving threat landscape.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Develop and implement a comprehensive information security program:
Think risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, access control, the whole enchilada.
Lead and empower a team of security professionals:
Guide, mentor, and inspire your team to achieve peak security awesomeness.
Get technical:
Analyze security logs, conduct penetration testing, and troubleshoot security incidents like a boss.
Stay ahead of the curve:
Continuously research and implement new security technologies and best practices.
Communicate effectively:
Translate complex security jargon into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborate across departments:
Work hand-in-hand with IT, engineering, and other teams to embed security into everything we do.
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in information security, preferably in a hands-on role.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful security programs.
Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
Recognised Information Security qualifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, GCCC or CGEIT).
Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
A passion for security and a drive to stay ahead of the curve.
