Information Security Manager (Currently titled Deputy Head of Information Security) Location:

What you’ll be doing:
Ensuring continual improvement to the information security risk register
Appling BAE Standards, MOD Standards, and good practice Standards
Being responsible for improving performance measures of a managed information security process
Working collaboratively and mentoring staff to ensure Information Assurance and cyber security issues are addressed and providing associated advice and guidance to the wider group
Your skills and experiences:
Essential skills:
Ability to mentor staff in all aspects of security including operational processes, incident and risk management, auditing and security improvement programmes
Experience of information security and application of Standards
Knowledge and understanding of Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), i.e., current legislation, standards, processes, guidance and tools used in security engineering
Experience in production of clear concise documentation suitable for risk reduction process. Having a working knowledge of Secure-by-Design
Ideally have ISO27001:2022 Lead Implementer qualification or experience of competencies at practitioner level as a Security & Information Risk Advisor or an IA Architect
Experience of working within information security transition projects

Maritime Services (MS) Information Security team:
With direct relevance to naval products and ship services, this is an excellent chance to join a rapidly expanding team that is leading information security in the defence industry.
