The work is focussed on the development of policies and processes globally, to decrease risks and costs associated with, data privacy and information governance. The role also has a clear path and plan for the progression into the firms Global Privacy Officer (Head of.)
Some of your responsibilities:
Developing procedures and processes for ensuring the classification, confidentiality, data privacy, data protection, retention and disposition of client and firm information.
Assisting senior management and lawyers in identifying and containing risks relating to data privacy and data protection.
Takes ownership of privacy compliance requirements including breach management, data subject access requests and records of processing activity compliance
Sets IG programme goals and objectives in the firm’s offices globally that support and enhance compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements of the firm and its clients
Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience across Data Protection and Information Governance. Whilst having exposure to a range of different jurisdictions within professional services/consultancy or corporate environments.
