We are recruiting for a Information Governance Compliance Lead to join our team on a fixed term contract for 6 months.The post-holder will be responsible for providing, receiving and presenting complex information. They will require the ability to communicate this complex information to a range of people including individuals whoare not subject matter experts. Persuasive, motivational, negotiating, training skills are required as well as providing and receiving highly complex information / present complex information to large groups.The Information Governance Team is responsible for providing expert advice, guidance and services to the Trust covering a number of dimensions: all organisational and personal data developing new processes and policies best practice legal and statutory responsibilities training and education relating to data and information usage incident management compliance reporting annual assurance submissions and any additional measures or structures required to support this.Main duties of the jobAs a IG Compliance Lead you will develop processes for collection, analysis, validation, presentation and reporting of activity to ensure that resources are effectively managed and the best possible patient care is achieved. As such, professionals in this position have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills have advanced knowledge of analysing complex information with the ability to drive innovation and engagement.You will provide assurance of compliance with Information Governance policy and Standard Operating Procedures through liaising with users of data systems to ensure that data standards are maintained, and sensitive information is protected.in addition, you will engage with quality and service improvement through auditing, assessing, addressing and communicating issues, trends or opportunities to identify improvements reflecting on own andothers' practice contributing to strategic planning identifying new ways of working or potential efficiencies using analysis to improve decision-making and supporting the team to provide services by minimising clinicians' and senior leaders' time taken by administration responsibilities.About usOne of the largest community NHS trusts in the UK, KCHFT are rated 'outstanding' by the CQC.
