Information Assurance Officer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Thery are recognised as market leaders with leading practises across Corporate, Litigation, Tax, Banking and Finance, Real Estate and Private Wealth.Due to further investment across their Information Services offering, they are keen to appoint an experienced Information Assurance Officer. Working closing with the Director of Information Services, you will drive InfoSec and CyberSec compliance and assurance capabilities ranging from internal data protection and InfoSec requirements. The 12 months fixed term contract for an Information Assurance Officer will pay a range of GBP50,000 to GBP60,000 with benefits and hybrid working model.Information Assurance Officer – DutiesDrive compliance capabilities and assuranceAssist with Cyber Essentials Plus accreditationSupport maintenance and updates of security policy suiteDue diligence for InfoSec for new and current suppliers – Supplier audits and risk assessmentsManage InfoSec and CyberSec queriesInvolved in security investigations – reporting and incident resolutionDrive process improvement – improving compliance, incident preventionSupport InfoSec Risk Assessments – Review/Update risk registerAssist with development of training and awareness materials and security communicationsHelp reduce security and data protection risksInformation Assurance Officer – ExperienceCertifications: ISO 27001 Implementer – EssentialCyber Essentials PlusKnowledge of UK–GDPR, DPA '18, ISO 27001:2002Risk Management, Technical InfoSec conceptsLegal industry experience, desirable but not essentialThe permanent opportunity for an Information Assurance Officer will pay a salary range of GBP50,000 to GBP60,000 plus benefits and bonus with a hybrid working model.
