Indirect Tax Manager

Indirect Tax Manager needed for a hugely popular media business! This is a 3-month interim role to start, but has every chance of turning permanently if it's working well for both parties. The main purpose of the roles is to support international indirect tax advisory in a in a dynamic environment with a view to being a proactive advisor to the business.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Tax Specialist to work for this amazing global brand!Key responsibilities include:Play a pivotal role in developing the Indirect tax advisory strategy and build positive networks across the globeAct as a business partner to the indirect tax compliance and reporting teams to ensure that advice is correctly reportedIdentify any risks/opportunities and advise complianceWork closely with the legal teams to ensure vendor contracts are negotiated correctlyBe the main point of contact for the HMRCAssist with team training and developmentCandidate requirements:Qualified Accountant - ideally from Big 4 and posses excellent knowledge of indirect taxStrong project management and technical advisory skills to deal with complex projectsBe a self- starter with a positive mindset who can clearly focus on goalsExperience with managing relationships with tax authorities and tax advisorsStrong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.English essential, other language skills extremely usefulHandle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds - we pride ourselves on attracting the best talent for every opportunity through a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
