Indirect Strategic Procurement Sourcing Lead - Public Sector - £55,000 + Attractive Benefits Package – central London (hybrid working)
This well known brand are currently recruiting for a number of new opportunities within the Procurement department as they go through an exciting time of change and transition. Working closely with an award winning new CPO, as the Procurement Sourcing Lead, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of the procurement strategy across multiple high profile Indirect categories, including but not limited to Marketing, HR, Professional Services and Facilities Management.
You will be leading initiatives to deliver improved value for money for stakeholders whilst acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders, you will identify needs, deliver strategic plans, and navigate seamlessly through a cross-functional environment.

In order to be successful you must have strong Strategic Indirect Procurement experience, coupled with familiarity with OJEU regulations.
As you Indirect Strategic Procurement Sourcing Lead will :-
Direct responsibility for development of sourcing and contracting strategies across a portfolio of complex and strategic categories and suppliers; these will deliver best in market, value for money and innovative solutions for the business
Ensuring compliance with sourcing policy, public procurement regulations and other applicable regulations as a minimum standard and alignment with business strategy
Deliver cost reduction and profit improvement from non-pay expenditure as well as procurement transformation projects to improve the existing procurement function
Project leading category / sourcing strategies, owning the cradle-to-grave procurement process including RFP, RFQ etc
Instilling a high performance culture amongst the Procurement team, upskilling more junior team members and demonstrating what best-in-class Procurement looks and feels like
Required Experience:
expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement, especially in dealing with indirect services, within a
public sector setting
of category strategy plans to provide a 1-3 year plan across different categories
with agile cross-functional collaborative working methods
demonstrated ability to influence at an executive level.
