Independent Reviewing Officer

Credo Care is a well-established and leading Independent Fostering Agency, based in Lydd, Kent and specialising in the care of children with additional needs.
We are seeking an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join our team. As an Independent Reviewing Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children involved in the care system. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
Main areas of responsibility:
To undertake and chair thorough and rigorous annual review reports for registered foster carers
To attend annual reviews (either at foster carer homes or virtually, as appropriate)
Attending panel (either virtually or in person as where necessary)
Maintain appropriate records of reviews
To ensure full participation of all relevant persons and children in the review process, both in person and written, where appropriate
Other responsibilities:
To maintain a professional image and standard of presentation both personally and corporately
To work, at all times, in accordance with Credo Care policies, procedures and ethos
To attend training sessions as and when required
Pay: Agreed fee of £350 per annual review report and visit completed.
Expenses: 0.45p per mile, in line with HMRC
Location: Covering Lincolnshire; Peterborough; Bedfordshire; Hertfordshire; Essex; Cambridgeshire
