We are looking to recruit a Non-Motor Incident & Claims Handler
proactive handling of claims involving property damage and associated elements in a cost effective and efficient manner to closure within allocated authority levels and in agreement with procedures guide SLA’s.
This role is full time, permanent – 35 hours per week, working hours between 7.30am – 7pm.Fix working hours available.This role becomes partly hybrid after completed training in the office, meaning 3 days at home and 2 in the office if desired. Responsibilities
Handling of incidents/claims in line with the Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case LawHandling of incidents/claims up to an authority level of £5K in line with the Claims Procedures Guide/SLA and Current Case LawProcess of supplier invoices up to an authority level of £5KComplete reviews aqs required.Attend all relevant training as required.Attend where required any meetings with UK Bus/UK TrainsReport accurate work returns.Support inputting of telephone reported incidents by own drivers.Handling all data including CCTV discs in accordance with company/departmental policy and Data Protection Act Requirements
Excellent organisation and communication skills.Strong analytical skillsStrong attention to detailGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to work confidently with contacts across UKStrong verbal, written (including drafting) and problem-solving skills; andAbility to work to challenging timescales, when required
