Job DescriptionIn-House Regulation & Conduct Lawyer (Compliance Lawyer)Magic Circle Law FirmUp to £130,000pa + BenefitsLondon, 3 Days in London Per WeekMy client, a magic circle law firm, is actively recruiting for an experience Compliance/Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join the firm on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new In-House Regulation & Conduct Lawyer.This firm operates in over thirty countries and works on some of the most challenging and important deals and disputes around the world. The team is responsible for sustaining firm-wide culture of legal, regulatory and ethical compliance. You'll be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:- Advising on legal, regulatory and ethical standards - applicable to the firm and its employees- Advising on regulatory implications - Investigating potential conduct issues- Designing and implementing global AML compliance systems and procedures- Leading global risk management projects (including their annual compliance survey)- Developing and rolling out their global risk management policies- Supervision of junior colleagues while providing them freedom and flexibility to make decisions- Actively promoting an ethical, inclusive and diverse working environment+ much more.To qualify for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:- Be a minimum of SIX years PQE in Regulatory Law/Compliance- Have previous experience of multi-jurisdictional risk management and compliance (from an international law firm or similar)- Have strong technical knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks- Have strong analytical, research and presentation skills- Be able to commit to a minimum of three days a week in their London officeIf you fit the above criteria and you're interested in discussing this role further, please get in touch as soon as possible.
