The company designs, manufactures, and installs components, fuel and instrumentation and control systems for nuclear power plants and offers a full range of reactor services.With 14,000 employees worldwide, every day Framatome’s expertise helps its customers improve the safety and performance of their nuclear plants and achieve their economic and societal goals.Due to our ongoing growth within the UK, we are recruiting for a qualified Solicitor to join our Legal team.Reporting into the Head of Legal UK, this is a highly varied role, and you'll provide legal advice and support on legal issues affecting the business, which will involve working with the following key business functions: Commercial, Projects, Purchasing, Regulatory, Risk and Finance.You'll ideally have 3-6 years PQE experience in construction, or commercial law with a leading international law firm or in-house team. Previous in-house experience in the Energy/Nuclear sector or a strong interest in the energy sector is highly desirable and you'll have excellent drafting and presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail.The role is part of global legal team and will work closely with the wider legal department. The role is extensive and varied, and the candidate must be prepared to adapt to evolving job demands and may be asked to undertake duties that may not be detailed in their job description, but which they may reasonably be expected to perform.Prepare, review, lead and assist in the negotiation of various contracts, NDAs, Sub-consultancy agreements, joint venture agreements and other commercial matters as required.Identify clauses that present legal, insurance and commercial risks.
