In House Counsel - Insurance

Job DescriptionIntroductionOur client, a leading insurance company is looking to hire a commercial lawyer to handle and work on a variety of legal matters.Key Responsibilities:Broadly commercial in scope, the candidate will support the business with a range of commercial contracts and agreementsDraft, review and negotiate various contracts, including terms of business, NDAs and release and reliance letters.Assist with advice on regulatory matters, including with GDPR, and due diligence on various ventures. Also advising the business on any upcoming developments to the legal or regulatory landscape.Assist the team’s global offices with a range of matters.Key Experience:Ideally a qualified lawyer in the UK or common law jurisdiction with 0-3 years PQE* in commercial law.Must have strong practical experience handling a variety of commercial contracts.Ideally has some experience working within insurance, whether In-House or whilst in Private Practice.*Please note that PQE is used only as a guide and applications from those outside of the range will be considered.
