Import Logistics Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Import Logistics Executive to join our client based in Tilbury. As the Imports Logistics Executive, you will be communicating with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors such as shipping lines, hauliers and depots. You will raise internal files and invoices, pass supplier invoices and check vessel arrivals. Part of your role will also include arranging collections meeting the strict flight and vessel deadlines. You will be using an inhouse system to ensure that all customer entries are done a multitude of other administrative duties as well. Exceptional customer service skills would be beneficial. Experience required:
Export operations, preferably both airfreight and sea freight.Ability to complete export documentation, customer declarations including checking country requirements and raising certificates of origin if required.Experience of CNS and Destin8. Strong attention to detailGood communication skills and friendly personalityCompetent using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.Strong and dynamic team playerExcellent English and maths skills This is a full-time permanent role and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
